Slovakia holds a very special place in my heart. I consider it my second home. It’s where both of my parents are from. It’s where all my family (apart from my folks and sis) live. I feel such a strong connection to the people, the culture, the landscapes and the energy.
So I was very excited to go on a trip “back home” with my parents… and of course excited to check out the small business scene.
I loved the creativity of the little businesses I saw. The unique flair they all had. The absolute “Slovak-ness” of some of them.
The trip also included a pit stop in Dubai to visit my sister (and lovely virtual assistant).
Enjoy!
